The Global History of Capitalism project's Career Development Fellow, Dr Andrew Edwards has published a new blog post Time and the Economic as part of a Past & Present series on Political Economy and Culture in Global History, which came out of a reading group /discussion project convened by Andrew Edwards, with Peter Hill (Northumbria University) and Juan Neves-Sarriegui (University of Oxford). 

The series accompanies a virtual special issue of Past & Present on 'Capitalism in Global History' which is due to be published soon.

In connection with the virtual special issue, the group is also running a series of online 'Capitalism in Global History' virtual workshops which include:

Thursday 26 November, 5pm - Prof. Maxine Berg (University of Warwick): Capitalism in Global History, articles from the virtual issue and elsewhere

Tuesday 8 December, 5pm - Prof. Joanna Innes (University of Oxford): Political Economy and Culture in Global History, series of blog posts
